It all started when...
I was taken completely by surprise by a module in Holistic Health at San Francisco State University. I chose it on a whim, and ended up finding my life's work! In the Chinese medicine class we were asked to either receive or observe a treatment. I brought my mother to an acupuncturist for a treatment, and was amazed at how much pain relief she was able to get from acupuncture and herbs.
My mom had been experiencing debilitating headaches every day for many years due to a head injury. Within a few weeks of acupuncture and herbal treatments, my mom's daily headaches almost disappeared, and she only had the occasional headache!
Fascinated with traditional Chinese medicine, I went on to study at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM from 1994-96, and at Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in San Francisco from 1996-98, CA, where I graduated with honors in 1998.
Since 1998, I have been a licensed practitioner of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, with a great love of Chinese herbology. I have a passion for helping people on their path to achieve balance and wellness. My focus is on treating problems that negatively impact everyday health and well-being (sleep, digestion, pain) as well as specializing in women's health, and helping women and couples optimize their fertility.
LICENSE & national CERTIFICATION
I am licensed as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner by the Acupuncture Board of the State of California and a certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

I am board certified in the treatment of reproductive medicine by the international Acupuncture & TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).
